The mission of the UC Center for Business Analytics is to connect, teach, learn about and promote the application of business analytics and AI through a community of industry and academic experts.

Leadership Development

Our approach to leadership development is multi-faceted, providing a range of services to our members and the community. Our programming helps representatives from member organizations stay current on analytics trends adn develops the talent needed to drive business success.

Public Events

The Analytics Summit and Data Science Symposium, our annual conferences for analytics and data science professionals, draw hundreds of attendees and feature internationally recognized speakers. The Analytics Summit and Data Science Symposium empower attendees with the latest tools, trends and insights, and provide networking and engagement opportunities.

Professional Analytics Training

Our training courses have supplied thousands of analytics professionals from public and private companies with the skills to properly oversee data and use modern analytics tools. Taught by recognized experts in their respective fields, our courses span data visualization and analytics, with trainings on Generative AI, Power BI, Python and much more. Analytic Problem-Solving

Our professional project managers, academic experts and experienced students assist organizations with analyzing and solving their most pressing analytics needs.

Student Engagement

We help facilitate the identification of top analytics talent through our student engagement programs. We partner with Lindner's award-winning analytics programs to identify the best candidates for co-ops (paid, professional work experiences) or full-time employment.

Analytics Without Borders

The Center for Business Analytics and Lindner's department of operations, business analytics, and information systems sponsor this event open to the public to bring forward-looking ideas, cutting-edge technologies and conversation to all.

Join us on November 6 for a virtual version of Analytics Without Borders, "Promise and Perils of Language AI Reasoning: A Deep Dive into LLM."

Analytics Summit

Join us May 6, 2025, at the Sharonville Convention Center for a full day focused on "Real World Applications of Business Analytics." Learn from two outstanding keynote speakers and pick from a selection of five topic- and industry-focused track sessions with three speakers in each.

Data Science Symposium

The Data Science Symposium 2024 was held on Friday, October 11 at the Lindner College of Business. Talks tend to be slightly more technical and focused on subjects of interest to a mixture of practitioners and analytics leaders.
