Co-op & Hiring

Get Career Ready at Lindner College of Business

Career Services at Lindner College of Business connects undergraduate and graduate students with top regional and national employers. Year after year, we learn about students' talents and interests and the needs of our employer partners to expand networks, enhance résumés and impact real-world business initiatives.

What is Co-operative Education?

Each semester, Lindner undergraduate students can register for paid co-operative education work engagements, similar to signing up for courses. We help place students for co-ops that fit their specific interests and programs of choice, from conceptualizing and executing real marketing campaigns to building new startups. The number of co-op experiences required for graduation varies for first-year, transfer and Lindner Business Honors students.

Co-op Requirements

Students and employers customize co-op experiences with several flexible options, including full-time, part-time and project-based engagements. Requirements to participate in our co-op business programs include:

For students: Must be enrolled full-time as a matriculated student pursuing an undergraduate degree and maintain satisfactory academic progress.

For employers: Must provide full-time or multiple part-time engagements that are financially compensated, supervised and career-related.

Business School Career Services

Our specialized career services, strong employer partnerships and extensive alumni network empower our bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral students to excel after graduation. We take a comprehensive approach to career development, integrating professional preparation throughout the student experience. Business majors complete a minimum of two co-ops, earning competitive pay, while our career experts and wide-ranging network help ensure meaningful outcomes for our graduate students.
