Student Engagement
There are multiple ways an organization can connect with students enrolled in Lindner’s Business Analytics and Information Systems programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Access Student Resumes
Handshake, UC's job portal, provides participating organizations 24-hour access to one centralized location to post positions and internships, search for candidates, and manage on-campus interviews, career fairs and other events.
Student Interviewing
Student interviews through Lindner Career Services are available for reservation throughout the fall and spring semesters via Handshake. Employers are free to contact candidates directly for phone screenings, virtual or in-person interviews on their own sites as well.
Qualified students are available for co-op/internship and full-time/part-time roles. For additional information, such as resume books based on an organization’s needs, and/or to connect with Lindner/UC Alumni to arrange on-campus interviews, contact Michael Nuttle of Lindner Career Services, at nuttlemp@ucmail.uc.edu
On-Campus Recruiting
Information Sessions with master's students studying Business Analytics and Information Systems are an opportunity to interact with prospective candidates, increase awareness of your organization, and present employment opportunities and career paths.
To schedule an Information Session, please contact Dungang Liu, Academic Director at the Center for Business Analytics.
Student Projects
Organizations can experience direct hands-on engagement with students through a variety of Center-managed analytic problem-solving projects, including case-studies courses and contracted projects where students are engaged with faculty and staff members to solve complex problems. The Center matches the right students with needs of the particular project and client organization.
Additionally, graduate students must complete a capstone project which can include an independent project or internship for an organization.
Events
Attend or sponsor a center event to network and informally engage analytics students at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
