Student Organizations
Net Impact
UC's Net Impact is a registered student organization based out of the University of Cincinnati's Center for Entrepreneurship. The Center for Entrepreneurship acts as their home-base and drives their mission to UC and beyond. Founded through the spirit of innovation we strive to inspire the UC community to champion sustainable development.
"Our mission is to shift the narrative around sustainability and organizational practices to create transformative awareness in student mindsets of all disciplines at UC. Through fun, beautiful, and collaborative experiences we develop conscious leaders that understand the importance of the triple bottom line: an operational structure that takes into consideration the values and consequences of business practices on the planet, people, and profit."

Bearcat Ventures Student Fund
Bearcat Ventures is the University of Cincinnati's student-led venture fund and professional organization. They invest in alumni-led and Cincinnati-based startups across a board spectrum of industries and verticals.
"We offer students an opportunity to engage with fellow students interested in the industry of venture investing, while providing opportunities to learn about the process through training lectures, case studies, and speaking events from industry professionals. Bearcat Ventures encompasses three major venture investing activities: (1) our $1M+ educational evergreen student venture fund where trained students conduct due diligence and invest in actual UC-affiliated startups; (2) our Venture Research Studio, where trained students provide Pitchbook market research for UC-affiliated startups; and (3) our Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC) team, which competes annually in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill venture capital case competition."

Women in Entrepreneurship
Women in Entrepreneurship (WiE), formed in spring 2023, is our newest student organization. At the Center, we believe that entrepreneurship is for everyone – and WiE carries that message with its gender-inclusive philosophy. Activities have ranged from alumni speaker panels to business ideation exercises to personal goal-setting, all with the intent of empowering women on UC’s campus to view themselves as entrepreneurs.
