The Johnson Investment Institute’s mission is to build an ecosystem of students, alumni, faculty and practitioners that elevates the Lindner College of Business as a recognized center for investment theory and practice and creates exceptional experiential learning opportunities for students.
Thanks to the generosity of Timothy (Tim) Johnson, PhD, and his wife, Janet, Lindner is home to the institute and the Johnson Investment Counsel Investment Lab.

Programs and Resources
Student resources: Students have access the Johnson Investment Counsel Investment Lab, Bloomberg Terminals and FactSet.
Lindner Investment Challenge: Students will trade actual U.S. equities and exchange-traded funds with the goal of outperforming the S&P 500. Scholarship prizes are available to the top three teams.
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) opportunities: Professional development and experiential options, such as joining CFA Society Cincinnati and participating in the Stock Pitch Challenge.
