First Year Fast Pitch Competition

Student holds prototype at first year fast pitch competition

In 2023, the event formerly known as the InnovationQuest Elevator Pitch Competition, or IQ-E, was revamped into First Year Fast Pitch: a two-minute, deck-free challenge pitched to star judges for first year students only. Teams pitch with product and service ideas that range from entertainingly marketable to truly impactful. The 2024 competition will be held on April 4th @ 4:30PM at the 1819 Innovation Hub Auditorium (Room 230)..

Pitches include the following:

  • Problem you're trying to solve
  • Solution you give
  • Market Opportunity
  • Business Model (how do you plan on making money)
  • Your Team/Your Expertise
  • What are your next steps?
