Firm Overview
Excelsior is a small, Cincinnati-based company providing outsourced Controllership, Finance Director, CFO and other accounting services. Our "employee-first" mentality has enabled us to offer the highest quality services to a broad array of clients throughout the Greater Cincinnati area and beyond. We offer both fixed-fee and hourly arrangements.
Despite our services being cancellable at any time, since our founding in 2018, we've never had a client leave us for another accounting service provider.
Products and/or Services
We offer our outsourced accounting services on a fractional or "part-time" basis and are often a fit for companies who could benefit from the expertise of a highly capable Controller or CFO, but seek a lower price point and greater flexibility than a full-time, in-house hire brings.
Our core services revolve around monthly close and financial reporting, including preparation of a monthly financial reporting package that includes KPI & trend analysis, dashboards, rolling cash flow forecasts, budget-to-actual reporting, and more. We regularly assist with financial statement audit preparation and have the ability to compliment our higher-level offerings with transaction-level assistance (e.g., accounts payable, payroll processing, invoicing, etc.).
Although we primarily seek longer-term partnerships, we often also assist with temporary needs as availability permits. Please note, we do not offer income tax services, though we are happy to recommend and collaborate with trusted local tax accountants.
