UpTech

UpTech is Greater Cincinnati’s tech accelerator program for data driven startups developing tech-enabled solutions and seeking equity funding. They select up to 10 startup companies annually to go through their 6-months program, which runs annually from September to March.

UpTech is focused on entrepreneurship education that helps provide skills and knowledge for entrepreneurial success, mentoring by experts of the field, networking with the right people, 50 hours of legal and accounting services to each participant, office space, graphic designers and most of all community involvement with seed funding up to $50,000 per start up.

The UpTech accelerator program was launched in January 2012 to connect talent, money, and ideas in the Cincinnati entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well as to create a digital information industry cluster in Northern Kentucky.

In January 2014, their program branched out from our six founding partners (Campbell County Economic Progress Authority, Northern Kentucky ezone/Kentucky Innovation Network, Northern Kentucky University, Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corporation, Skyward, and Willman Design); at that time, we formally became UpTech, Inc., led by a five-member Board of Directors. UpTech, Inc., our program, remains a separate entity from the UpTech I Fund, LLC, our investment arm.

The UpTech Accelerator team is comprised of entrepreneurs, mentors, investors, designers, and doers.  We welcome you to learn more about the wizards behind the curtain that make this program possible.
