Why study Quantitative Finance?

The Finance industry is continually seeking avenues to combine finance and technology. As technology advances, our ability to utilize quantitattive tools and the ability to combine those quantitative tools with technology, the finance industry is increasing incorporating technology into financial decision making. This certificate includes courses that demonstrate the combination of finance and technology as well as enabling students to combine both in practice in the classroom.

Admission Requirements

  • Completion of a bachelor's degree
  • Unofficial academic transcripts for the admissions review process. Official transcripts required when admitted.
  • One letter of recommendation
  • Essay
  • Resume

The Quantitative Finance Graduate Certificate is granted to those who satisfactorily complete the required course work, carrying a minimum GPA of 3.0 or more. The certificate must be completed within five years of acceptance into the program. All students must contract for graduation.

Students must complete the certificate program in residence.
