Bina Ajay

I am a PhD Candidate at the Carl H. Lindner College of Business, University of Cincinnati. My research interests include strategic leadership & governance, entrepreneurship, and emotions. I have co-authored two book chapters - a review of the strategic leadership literature (in Oxford Bibliographies in Management) and a narrative study of a social entrepreneur's journey (in Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development). I have also presented my work at multiple conferences - the Academy of Management’s annual conference, the Southern Management Association’s annual conference, and the Strategic Management Society’s special conference on strategic leadership. Prior to joining the PhD program, I worked in industry for more than ten years and my experience spans various functional areas including strategy, business planning, project finance, audit, and taxation. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai and am an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
