Spring 2025

The Spring 2025 edition of the Lindner Accounting Review.

I would like to highlight several developments that have taken place in the Lindner accounting department over the past year. This issue of the Lindner Accounting Review provides additional examples that illustrate our mission.

In the fall, we successfully hosted the Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance (JAAF) Symposium on ESG, which provided a unique platform for internationally recognized scholars and thought leaders to exchange cutting-edge ideas on ESG and build long-lasting friendships with all participants.

Thanks to generous financial support from Forvis Mazars, the Lindner accounting department launched the Forvis Mazars Speaker Series. Through the attraction of renowned scholars and established practitioners, these seminars and events have provided valuable networking opportunities and fostered collaborations that further enhance our department’s reputation.

Our commitment to student success remains unwavering, too. After two years of preparation, we plan to launch an Online BBA in Accounting program in fall 2025. Outside of the classroom, our students have excelled in elite competitions, notably with undergraduate accounting students advancing to the final of the Deloitte FanTAXtic case competition for the second year in a row.

As always, we are very grateful for the support from our alumni, friends and corporate partners. Thank you!
