Co-op
By embedding paid, professional experiences within our academic programs, co-op helps Lindner students gain the skills, confidence and connections that accelerate their learning and their careers.
At the university that founded co-op — ranked No. 1 public co-op and consistently Top 5 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report — you’ll immerse yourself in an innovative and experience-based curriculum that includes cross-disciplinary projects, remote work options and industry certifications.
Cameron Martinez, BBA ‘23, interned and Land O’Lakes during summer 2022 and will join the company full-time as an incoming dairy foods analyst, upon his graduation.
During your college experience, you'll have the opportunity to participate in a variety of co-ops or internships. These experiential learning opportunities are the perfect combination of theory, practice and reflection that allow you to earn as you learn.
Your co-ops aren't just real-world, they're launchpads that pay. UC partners with organizations such as Procter & Gamble, PricewaterhouseCoopers and NASA to provide you with relevant work experience that will give you a huge competitive advantage when you enter the job market.
Invented in 1906, UC's co-op program was the first of its kind in the United States. Lindner students who intern or co-op full-time earn an average salary of $10,800 per semester. Additionally, 92% of Lindner undergraduate students who participated in a full- or part-time co-op obtained a full-time job within three months of graduation.
