Co-op

Lindner students explore career options, and build their professional skills, resumes and networks fulfilling co-op experiences.

At the university that founded co-op — and as the top-ranked public university for co-op by U.S. News & World Report — you’ll be immersed in an experience-based curriculum that includes cross-disciplinary projects, remote work options and industry certifications.

Cameron Martinez, BBA ‘23, joined Land O’Lakes full-time after graduation following a successful experiential learning experience.

You'll participate in a variety of co-ops and experiential learning opportunities. These experiences are the perfect combination of theory, practice and reflection that allow you to earn as you learn.

Co-ops are launchpads that supply you with relevant work experience that will give you a competitive advantage when entering the job market. Lindner co-op students earned more than $7.4 million during the 2022-23 academic year. Additionally, 92% of Lindner undergraduate students who participated in a full- or part-time co-op obtained a full-time job within three months of graduation.

Beginning in Fall 2023, Lindner will implement a new universal co-op program. Once fully enacted, all students will be required to complete a baseline of two co-ops, with the minimum number of experiences needed depending on the student’s specific circumstances.
