The University of Cincinnati will close at 2:30PM Wednesday 3/4/15 due to the inclement weather.  Classes are canceled, and all offices -- with the exception of those noted in the UC emergency closing policy (University Rule 30-16-01) -- will be closed.  

Students at the Academic Health Center should follow their college’s inclement weather plan.

The Carl H. Lindner College of Business Information Technology (LCB IT) department provides full service, enterprise level support for students, faculty and staff at the Lindner College of Business. Because technology is an integral part of almost every endeavor within the Lindner College of Business, the Information Technology department has focused its goals and reputation upon providing fast and efficient support services, a safe and secure technology infrastructure and a personalized experience tailored to the unique needs of each user.

Software - The LCB Information Technology department offers a variety of academic software for its students, faculty, and staff. The department hosts and manages license servers from a variety of software vendors to ensure each students has access to the resources they need.

The LCB Information Technology team provides documentation, tutorials and personal assistance that walk our customers through various software installation processes, remote access to our Microsoft Remote Desktop Services servers, and personal assistance with all software related questions. Please reference our software database to view our offerings.

LCB Computer Labs - The Carl H. Lindner College of Business offers enrolled students with private computer labs that cater to every academic program offered. Our labs are furnished with fast and efficient workstations that have been customized with business oriented software that students will need throughout their tenure at the college.


LCB Information Technology Department Service Portfolio - The LCB Information Technology portfolio consists of three components.

  1. A definition of our primary service offerings, Service Level Agreements for those offerings, our focus and our goals for the LCB from a technology standpoint that align with not only the College's strategy but the University's as well.
  2. A comprehensive list of our successful technology based projects and implementations and how these projects have helped LCB constituents.
  3. An active list of our current and ongoing projects that we are working towards today.
