Jeff Wyler, of the Jeff Wyler Automotive Family, enlightens freshmen at the Carl H. Lindner College of Business on his successful career.

Graduating from the Lindner College of Business in 1965 with a degree in finance, Wyler explained to students the benefits and struggles of owning your own business. Noting that no one plans to go into automotive retail, Wyler says he has reached his success by asking himself “How badly do you want it?” He went on to mention that retail requires nights and weekends and you have to be prepared to work hard.

Focusing on the importance of marketing, accounting, and finance, Wyler described how important it is to be self-sufficient and understand how all the business majors work together.

When asked what advice he would give to freshmen, Wyler emphasized the need to pay attention and do your best.

“You’ve got a great future ahead of you, even if you don’t know what it is yet,” he told about 50 freshmen in the Essentials of Business class.

The Jeff Wyler Automotive Family is a privately owned business that has it headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Working in the new and used car business, Jeff Wyler is located in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
