Drew Boyd, executive director of the MS marketing program at the University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Business, was named chairman of the PharmaBrand 2011 Summit, an international conference for pharmaceutical marketers in Montreux, Switzerland from June 27 to 29, 2011.
Sharing the stage with world-class marketers, such as best-selling author Seth Godin, Boyd will present a keynote talk titled, “Persuasion in Practice: A Systematic Approach to Influencing Others.”
“By learning to influence in a systematic way, leaders enhance their ability to create positive change and growth in their organizations,” says Boyd. Based on the work of Dr. Robert Cialdini, author of “Influence: Science and Practice,” Boyd’s seminar delivers six powerful tools of influence to improve one’s professional effectiveness.
“In the ever-changing pharmaceutical industry, marketers need to be nimble, taking quick action in a dynamic setting,” says Boyd. “The PharmaBrand 2011 conference will empower marketers to succeed by exploring the industries latest challenges and opportunities through keynotes, case studies and discussion panels. I’m honored to be a part of it.”
