The Habegger Corporation Extends its Premier Partnership with UC Lindner College of Business

Habegger support of Center for Professional Selling develops region’s workforce.  

The University of Cincinnati is pleased to announce that The Habegger Corporation has extended its Premier Partnership with the UC Carl H. Lindner College of Business. A focal point of the ongoing partnership is Habegger’s continued support of the Lindner College of Business’s Center for Professional Selling and Habegger’s commitment to educating and shaping the lives of students desiring to be successful sales professionals.

The Center for Professional Selling enables students to learn the personal selling and communication skills needed to become successful sales professionals, no matter which industry they wish to pursue. The Center provides students with real-world selling experiences and gives them numerous opportunities to network with the many top-tier companies located in the greater Cincinnati area.

In April, Lindner’s Center for Professional Selling was named one of the premiere sales programs in the United States by the Sales Education Foundation and that same month, two members of the Center’s varsity sales team placed among the Top 15 students in the nation in the National Collegiate Sales Competition. “That level of success simply would not be possible were it not for the generous support provided by The Habegger Corporation,” says Lindner College of Business Dean David M. Szymanski.

The Center’s faculty and doctoral students conduct sales-focused research to remain on the industry’s cutting edge and provide its students, clients and partners with new sales best practices and selling techniques.

“Habegger’s support makes it possible for us to provide state-of-the art professional sales education to all UC students regardless of major. Our graduates enter the workforce immediately ready to tackle the business challenges of today and tomorrow,” says Center for Professional Selling Director Jane Sojka. “Fred Habegger’s vision for Cincinnati and his dedication to higher education provides a win for UC students and win for the entire region.”
