Orientation

Every summer, the Lindner College of Business welcomes hundreds of first-year students for Bearcats Bound Orientation.

Hosted by the University of Cincinnati New Student Orientation Office, Bearcats Bound Orientation is a program that helps new students and family members get acquainted with, transition to and start to engage with the UC community.

Placement Tests

Students need to achieve certain test scores in order to enroll in the required calculus courses. A student's MPT score can help place them in the appropriate course in the event that an ACT or SAT score was below the minimum score for a required course.

Existing Credit

Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) credit may appear on a high school transcript, but official scores from College Board or IB are required for the college credit to apply to a UC degree.
 
Students are to log into their Collegeboard.com or IBO.org account and request the scores to be sent to UC. High schools do not do this for students.

All college credit earned in high school must be sent to UC in the form of an official college transcript. The university cannot accept the credits from a high school transcript.

Students are to request any institutions from which they have earned credit to send an official transcript to UC. High schools do not do this for students.
