Scholarships

BEARE Fellow Scholarship

Representatives from the BEARE Board have generously agreed to contribute funds toward the education of high-achieving real estate majors. The recipients of this scholarship are known as BEARE Fellows. These awards are given at the discretion of the selection committee and may not be awarded every year.

Awards

  • $4,000 BEARE Fellow Scholarship
  • $2,500 Neyer Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Applicant must have an excellent academic record
  • Active member of the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Association (UCREA)
  • Participates in the UC Roundtable Programs and UC Real Estate Center programs

Undergraduate scholarships

The Real Estate Center annually awards scholarships to excellent students who demonstrate interest in pursuing careers in real estate. These awards are given at the discretion of the selection committee.

Awards

  • $1,500 scholarship for real estate majors (up to 20 scholarships available)
  • $250 scholarship for real estate minors (up to 10 scholarships available)

Eligibility

  • Minimum GPA 3.2
  • Active member of the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Association (UCREA)
  • Attended a minimum of two UC Roundtable Programs or UC Real Estate Center hosted programs

Graduate scholarships

Award

  • $1,000

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be enrolled in the graduate certificate in real estate program along with MS Finance or MBA programs in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business
  • Applicant must have a strong academic record

UC-ICSC Foundation Scholarship

The Real Estate Center's relationship with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) has become an important strategic partnership for both institutions. In 2014, the ICSC designated the Center as one of its top partner institutions, recognizing our real estate program as one of the country's best. A special thanks to Jeffery R. Anderson, CEO and President of Jeffrey R. Anderson Real Estate, for his contribution to the UC-ICSC Foundation Scholarship.

Award

  • $2,000 scholarship to be used towards tuition and/or related expenses

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be a major in real estate
  • Applicant must have a strong academic record
  • Active member of the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Association (UCREA)
  • Participates in the UC Roundtable Programs and UC Real Estate Center programs

External scholarships

Ohio REALTORS Charitable & Educational Foundation Scholarship

The Ohio REALTORS® Charitable & Educational Foundation was established by the board of the Ohio Association of REALTORS® in 1980. The foundation awards scholarships to outstanding students actively pursuing four-year or advanced degrees in real estate and related fields at Ohio’s colleges and universities.

Completed applications must be sent to a professor or academic advisor to be submitted.

The amount awarded varies based on student applications.

SIOR Scholarship

The Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® Ohio Chapter annually awards scholarships to excellent students who demonstrate interest in pursuing careers in commercial real estate.

This scholarship is offered multiple times throughout the academic year. Awards vary based on student applications. 

ICSC Scholarships

ICSC offers more than 100 academic and professional education scholarships and fellowships. For more information on available scholarships and to apply, visit the ICSC website.

PREA Scholarships

In keeping with its educational mission, the Pension Real Estate Association awards scholarships on an annual basis to promising students studying real estate at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study in real estate at an accredited four-year institution of the student's choice.
