Consumer and Market Insights Lab
Welcome to the Consumer and Market Insights Lab (CMI Lab). Part of the Lindner College of Business, CMI Lab members conduct theory-driven research in marketing and consumer behavior. UC is one of the few universities with a dedicated lab space for research on the topics of professional selling and sales management.
We encourage our students to join research studies and take advantage of the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research, developing firsthand insight into the latest advances in the science of marketing.
The CMI Lab is located in 3110 Carl H. Lindner Hall.
Sign up for SONA
Please sign up for a lab sessions in advance. Participants are expected to arrive five to ten minutes before the start of their session. All sessions will begin promptly at their scheduled time and latecomers will not be accommodated.
Some useful tips when participating in research
- Always arrive early for your lab session. Late arrivals will not be accommodated.
- You will be participating in the lab session with other students, so please be considerate to them. Please turn off and put away all cell phones or electronic devices that might be a distraction during the study.
- You may be required to silently take the study. This is especially important for the success of some of the studies you'll be participating in, as we may be monitoring your reaction times.
- If you are interested in learning more about any of the studies in which you participate, ask the survey administrator to provide you with the email address of the researcher.
