Our mission is to ensure that the Lindner Marketing Department prepares students to think independently and critically so that they select the right tools for today and the future, and to advocate for the department and students.

Bruce Atherly

Bruce Atherley is the Executive Director of Cotton Council International which is responsible for promoting the export of US cotton and cotton products. He is also an Adjunct Instructor of Marketing for the University of Cincinnati. In his 30-plus year career, Bruce has an outstanding record of success in general management and marketing roles in consumer products companies including General Mills, Heinz, Newell Rubbermaid, Wrigley and Kao. He has introduced dozens of new products and has done business in over twenty countries.

Whitney Jarrett (Bauer)

As Client Director for Nielsen, Whitney is responsible for leveraging the suite of Nielsen Watch & Buy solutions to drive value, insight and innovation throughout the Kroger organization with a focus on developing relationships with Consumer Research, Marketing, Digital, Media & Creative and Customer Insights. Prior to her role with Retail, Whitney worked for nine years within the Consumer and Shopper Practice area, consulting with a variety of clients. Before Nielsen, Whitney held roles at Catalina Marketing and Northlich. Whitney did her undergrad work at Western Kentucky University and received her MBA from the University of Cincinnati. She lives in Cold Spring, KY with her husband and their four children.

Dave Knox

Dave Knox is Chief Marketing Officer for Rockfish, a WPP-owned Digital Innovation Partner. Prior to Rockfish, Knox was a seven-year veteran of Procter & Gamble, where he was instrumental in the digital turnaround that led to P&G being named to AdAge's Digital A-List. Dave was named to the iMedia 25 Class of Digital Innovators, by Cincinnati Business Courier as the CMO of the Year in the inaugural C-Suite Awards, and by AdAge as a "40 Under 40" in 2015. Dave speaks frequently on innovation and digital marketing, including appearances at Mashable Connect, SXSW, TEDxCincy, and the Web 2.0 Summit. Dave is active in the entrepreneurial community, serving as a Board Observer / Advisor to multiple venture-backed companies. He is a Managing Partner in the VC firm Vine St Ventures, an advisor to both Bullpen Capital in San Francisco and Hyde Park Venture Partners in Chicago, and is the co-founder of The Brandery, one of the top 10 startup accelerators in the country. Dave serves on the United Way of Greater Cincinnati Strategic Council and on the Board of Directors for the Cincinnati Mercantile Library, Bow Tie Foundation, and the VCU Brandcenter in Richmond, VA.

Patrick Kraus

As Brand Director at P&G Ventures, Patrick leads numerous initiatives to deliver new brands and new sources of revenue to Procter & Gamble. As a 22-year veteran at P&G, Patrick has worked nine years in Engineering and the last 13 in Brand Management working brands like Pampers, Febreze, and Gillette. Prior to P&G, Patrick work for 6 years as a design engineer at GE Aircraft Engines. Patrick has a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master's of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Rebeca Arbona

As Executive Director of Strategy and Research for Interbrand, Rebeca believes that effective brands always begin by understanding what matters most to real people. She uses deep insights into people's hearts and minds to craft meaningful strategies that build and deepen brands' relevance. Prior to Interbrand, Rebeca was a Partner in the Chicago brand strategy firm, Brandtrust. She has also previously worked at Brandstorm (a division of Northlich), Hasbro and Christian Dior Perfumes. The brand strategy consulting and new product innovation clients she's advised include Procter & Gamble, Frito-Lay, Brown-Forman, Keurig, GE, Eli Lilly, Kraft, Kellogg's, General Mills, MasterCard, Kroger, Scotts and Wrigley. Rebeca has a degree in Linguistics from Yale University and an MBA in Marketing from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Her hobby is collecting hobbies and she lives with her family in Mt. Lookout.

Amy Chase

Amy Chase is a Client Manager for Nielsen. She graduated in 2011 from the Carl H. Lindner Honors-PLUS Program in the Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati. Amy was a Marketing major and had the opportunity to participate in the co-op program (including co-op roles at LPK and Kao Brands). The summer following graduation, Amy started her career at Nielsen. She worked on the Client Services team supporting P&G Beauty for 2 years, before moving to a Category Management role at Dannon on the Kroger account. Amy returned to Nielsen in 2014 and has been supporting the P&G Hair Care portfolio since. Amy also leads the Nielsen Champion Team for the University of Cincinnati, working to recruit top talent for Nielsen's Professional Services Experience intern and full time programs.

Laurence Vigeant-Langlois, PhD

Laurence Vigeant-Langlois, Managing Director of Strategic and Regional Marketing at GE Aviation, leads a global team who supports GE Aviation's strategy and sales of engines, systems and services for commercial, business and military aviation. Prior to joining GE, she led product and strategy development, program execution, commercial negotiations and launched open innovation initiatives for aerospace companies including a helicopter manufacturer (Sikorsky / United Technologies), a leasing company (CIT Aerospace / CIT Group), a weather service provider (WSI / The Weather Channel) and an airline (Air Cargo Express). A native of Montreal, Canada, Laurence received a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and, under NASA and FAA funding, SM and PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT. She is a commercial pilot, speaks three languages, has published 30 articles and two patents, received awards from NASA, the European Space Agency and the government of Canada, and serves on the boards of IAWA and the MIT Enterprise Forum. She has enjoyed teaching flying in sailplanes, competing in triathlon, sailing and rowing, and enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.

Matt Lewis

Matt Lewis is the VP of Experience Strategy at Rockfish, a digital innovation partner for some of the world's leading brands. Matt and his team drive Rockfish to deliver exceptional digital experiences for their clients that are easy to use and solve business and customer challenges. Recently, he has been focusing on the impact that service design can have on a corporation or brand and what that means for its future digital offerings. Matt's career has spanned automotive, CPG, healthcare and financial industries; he has worked with several major companies including Ford Motor Company, Mars Incorporated, Janssen and Fifth Third Bank. Matt graduated from the University of Cincinnati's College of DAAP in 2009.

Robin Nowland

Robin is the Associate Director of Brand Learning at Procter & Gamble where she is responsible for the overall strategy and execution of the newly established Brand University which is responsible for designing and delivering world class curriculum and learning experiences for the Brand organization globally. She is a 27 year veteran at P&G where she has spent the last 19 years focused on brand building capability serving over 5,000 brand builders worldwide. She has been involved in developing and launching key capability initiatives to include Customer & Shopper Marketing as well as the Brand Building Framework which serves as the core foundational knowledge for brand builders around the globe. Robin also represents P&G on the Marketing Science Institute where she serves as the Chairperson for the MSI Educational Roundtable. In addition to her P&G responsibilities, Robin is actively involved with her school district where she serves on the DECA Business Leadership Advisory Board and serves as the Financial Advisor for the Century of Excellence Program designed to raise funds for overall campus improvements.

Alaine Perconti

As a Content Engineer with Empower Media Marketing, Alaine is responsible for understanding the audience's preferences for content along with how best to connect with them using search and discovery channels. Alaine's experience is built on a strong foundation in digital marketing, journalism, search engine optimization and search engine marketing. She supports clients in a variety of CPG categories including car care and food. Alaine earned degrees in Marketing and Journalism from Miami University in 2013 and is a Cleveland native.

Scott Jordan

Scott's career spans more than 15-years with The Kroger Co. He is currently responsible for managing the rewarding customer strategy and tactics across the Kroger enterprise. This includes the popular fuel points program, Best-Customer communications, and other various customer rewards initiatives for Kroger's most loyal customers. He also partners closely with the Kroger Personal Finance group that offers customers an array of products and services including Money Services, credit, and gift cards to name a few. Scott also oversees Kroger's Data Sharing Governance Council which ensures all customer data is in compliance with the company's privacy policy. Prior to his current role, Scott served as a Sr. Customer Insights Analyst analyzing customer attitudinal and behavioral data and product data to help the Kroger enterprise make better decisions, which increase customer loyalty and sales. Scott earned his bachelor's degree in computer information systems from DeVry University and master's degree in project management from Keller Graduate School of Management.

Maria Arand

As a merchandising client lead at 84.51°, Maria partners with Kroger's Fresh departments to leverage data solutions and drive customer-first thinking, including leading transformational change by developing shopper-led strategies for a department through a collaborative project with Kroger and supplier partners. Prior to her current role, she worked on the Customer Knowledge team developing insight-driven solutions leading to the implementation of customer-first initiatives. Maria graduated from the Carl H. Lindner Honors-PLUS Program at the Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati in 2012. She studied Marketing and International Business and participated in the Co-op program, including roles at Cincinnati Insurance and GE.

Kim Harris-Busdieker

Kim Harris-Busdieker is a Loyalty Director at 84.51° where she is responsible for turning data into insights that make the lives of Kroger customers easier. She designs and develops solutions to improve the relevance, impact and return of multichannel 1:1 customer communications. Prior to 84.51°, she held multiple roles within dunnhumbyUSA where she started in pricing and promotion development in 2004 and transitioned to leadership within custom insights, segmentation and digital personalization development. She also previously worked at the ARS Group and Intelliseek, and is a UC MBA graduate from the class of 2000.

Joelle Gwinner

Joelle Gwinner consults with Burke, Inc. clients on designing, planning and executing, and interpreting strategic and tactical marketing research. Joelle counsels clients in many industries in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer categories. Her expertise covers a wide range of research areas, with particular emphasis on brand equity, brand image and positioning, segmentation and pricing research. Joelle is also a member of Burke's R&D committee, through which she has served in the development and oversight of Burke's Brand Assessment research practice. In addition to consulting with clients, Joelle manages a team of analysts and has responsibility for developing and deploying internal training for Decision Sciences staff. Joelle received her MBA from the University of Cincinnati and her BSBA from The Ohio State University.

Stephanie Gordon

Stephanie Gordon is a Marketing Coordinator at Kroger Co., where she is responsible for managing marketing strategy & customer communication plans for the Fuel Program, Kroger Personal Finance, and total store Food Themed Events (i.e. Taste of Italy). Through this work, the company has positively impacted customer purchase behavior in key categories & improved customer mindset regarding Kroger's "foodie" culture. She graduated in 2008 from the University of Toledo School of Business with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing & International Business. She is also involved in various community organizations including United Way Emerging Leaders Society and is a 4C Ambassador Board member. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys crafting, exploring new restaurants and shops in OTR where she currently resides, and walking her  boxer mix, Fonzworth.

Scott McNabb

Scott McNabb is Global Vice President, Marketing Automation Platforms for the Oracle Marketing Cloud. Scott is a prolific evangelist who is passionate about guiding companies towards extraordinary revenue performance. Considered a digital marketing expert with more than 25 years designing and executing revenue generation models for Marketing and Sales leaders worldwide, Scott has held leadership positions for global organizations to include Oracle, Eloqua, WebTrends, IBM/Ascential, and CDC/Pivotal Software, along with distinguished service in the United States Air Force where he served as a Weapons Systems Evaluator on the A-!0 Thunderbolt II and F-15E Strike Eagle platforms. Scott currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife of 18 years and his two kids.
