Undergraduate Scholarships and Book Prizes in Economics

The Department of Economics is pleased to invite applications for departmental scholarships and book prizes for the next academic year. Only one application is required to be considered for all available scholarships and book prizes. Available scholarships are listed below.

Scholarship amount

$5,000

Renewable?

Up to two years for undergraduate studies, and an additional year if the student continues to the MS in Applied Economics program.

Requirements

  • Sophomore status beginning fall 2018.
  • Completion of ECON 1001 or ECON 1002 or equivalent.
  • At least 24 AP credits.
  • Economics or Business Economics major during undergraduate studies.
  • Participation in the Economics Society.
  • Maintain a 3.5 or above GPA.
  • Membership in the Kautz Uible Fellows LinkedIn group.

  • Completion of ECON 2020 or ECON 2030.
  • Economics or Business Economics major during 2018-2019.
  • Participation in the Economics Society.

Up to three years of undergraduate studies.

  • Women students only.
  • Completion of ECON 1001 or ECON 1002.

  • Membership in the Kautz-Uible Women's Initiative LinkedIn group.
