Jeri Ricketts is Associate Professor of Accounting. She graduated in 1979 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Louisville. She then worked as an auditor with Peat Marwick (KPMG) before returning in 1981 to work on her MBA at the University of Cincinnati. After completing her MBA, she entered the PhD program at UC, obtaining her PhD in accounting in 1986. She has also taught at the University of Dayton, and as a visiting professor at the University of Arizona. Her research interests are audit risk; internal control testing and assessment procedures in auditing; roles of internal and external auditors; and analytical review procedures in auditing.
