Paul is committed to one thing – unleashing the power of teams to achieve outstanding results.

Paul believes strongly in the power of people and helping them realize capability they didn’t know existed.

Paul was born and raised in South Africa which gives him a unique perspective as he approaches different situations. Away from work you will find Paul outside, either on the ski slopes, playing golf, or backpacking.

Lisa is not only EMI Network’s owner but its Chief Energy Officer, a leader who spends each day putting into practice professionally what she believes personally: that everything you do matters.

Lisa knows that even the smallest action can leave a lasting effect, and she purchased EMI Network in 2013 to marry her core beliefs with her work. Lisa has transformed EMI Network into a full-service firm capable of caring for every aspect of its clients’ brands in order to further their business development and allow clients to focus on their strengths.

A passion for helping others succeed has been the driver throughout Lisa’s career. Prior to joining EMI Network, Lisa served as vice president and general manager of Employee Management Services. During Lisa’s tenure, sales production grew by more than 70 percent, and the organization exceeded industry standards in client retention and quality assurance.

Lisa knows how to build and grow a thriving business. She’s also passionate about helping people grow and thrive. Lisa was a 2011 recipient of the YWCA’s Rising Star award, which recognizes and supports younger women who are seen as Cincinnati’s future leaders. She graduated from the YWCA Board Leadership Program in 2012 and is now an advisory committee member for the Rising Stars Program. She is Chair of the Board of Directors for Portaluca, the boutique supporting Dress for Success Cincinnati, a member of the Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services Development Committee, a member of the Board of Advisors for the University of Cincinnati Goering Center, where she also serves on the Marketing Committee.  Lisa also serves on the Unity Way Women of Tocqueville mentoring program at the Gardens of Greenup.   

In 2016, Lisa was nominated for a YWCA Career Women of Achievement Award. Under Lisa’s leadership, EMI Network has been a finalist (2014) and top finalist (2015) for a Goering Center Family & Private Business Award; a finalist (2015) for a WE Celebrate Award; a finalist (2015) for a Best Places to Work Award; and a nominee (2015) for a Cincinnati USA Business of the Year Award.

Lisa shares an active life with her husband, Sam, and son, Will. She loves reading, spending time outdoors and attempting to play golf.

Dr. David Szymanski, Dean, Lindner College of Business

Dr. Szymanski was named LCOB Dean in 2010, following his role as JC Penney Chair of Retailing and Professor of Marketing at Texas A&M University where he also served as the Director of the Center for Retailing Studies. He serves on the board of directors of Office Depot, where he is chairman of the compensation committee, and he has served on the board of directors of both Zale Corporation and OfficeMax. Dr. Szymanski has consulted widely in the retailing sector and has published widely in the premier academic journals. His areas of expertise include personal selling, product innovation, and customer satisfaction. He earned a BA in Economics from UNC-Asheville where he played both basketball and tennis, MS in Economics from Vanderbilt University, and MBA and PhD in Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Patricia Ragio, Executive Director, Corporate Engagement

After spending 26 years in increasingly responsible professional advancement positions, most recently as Vice President, Institutional Advancement, at Mount St. Joseph University, Patty Ragio returned to the UC Lindner College of Business in May, 2015 to become Executive Director, Corporate Engagement. In this role she will assist the Lindner leadership in building and executing a comprehensive regional, national and international corporate relations strategic plan. Patty is a Cincinnati native and graduate of Miami University. She currently lives in Anderson Township with her husband and three children.

Glenn Wegryn, Executive Director, Center for Business Analytics

In addition to serving in his role with the Center for Business Analytics, Glenn is also Principal, Analytic Impact, a consultancy specializing in supply chain strategy and design and coaching on building analytics capabilities within an organization. He has consulted with or has been a guest speaker at Chevron, Mondelēz International, Hain Celestial, Ecolab, Ford, Verizon Wireless, Sunny Delight and Advance Pierre Foods.  Glenn is a retiree of Procter & Gamble where he built the Advanced Business Analytics practice into a world-class, award-winning organization.  He is a dynamic, engaging presenter and evangelist for Analytics, and is a regularly invited speaker at major conferences and C-level forums.

Jennifer Barlow, Director of External Relations, Center for Professional Selling

After spending almost 15 years as a Major Gift Officer at Cincinnati Children’s, Jennifer brought her talents to higher education and joined the Lindner College of Business in 2012.  She spends her day working with HR and sales teams from regional companies and connecting them with sales students through a variety of classroom activities.  When she isn’t at work, Jennifer can be found coaching YMCA soccer in Anderson Township, chairing the New Family Welcome committee for her kids’ elementary school, and being the “room mom” for their classrooms.
