LCB-Bridge Program

The Carl H. Lindner College of Business is excited to offer the first annual Lindner College of Business–Bridge program (LCB-Bridge). Select students admitted into the College of Arts and Sciences Exploratory program who ultimately wish to transition into Lindner Business can participate in this seven week, hybrid online program. LCB-Bridge previews business topics while helping you build your math competency and potentially earn college credit for Freshman English (ENGL1001).

The program kicks off June 12, 2018, to be followed by UC Freshman Orientation on June 13-14, 2018. Throughout the summer you will hear speakers introducing various current business topics, write about those topics, and practice specific math skills you need to enhance through a targeted online program.

The total cost of the LCB-Bridge program is $1,000, which covers the cost of earning three credits of Freshman English (regularly $1,377 at $459 per credit hour plus books), the online ALEKS math prep course, and business lecturers and speakers. A limited number of need based scholarships are available to subsidize the cost of the LCB-Bridge program in cases of demonstrated need.

To secure your spot in the LCB-Bridge program, please complete the following steps:

  1. Confirm your UC Admission to Arts and Science Exploratory Studies fall 2018 class following the instructions on your UC Freshman Offer Letter.
  2. Complete the LCB-Bridge Application to indicate your interest in the bridge program. Be sure to complete the scholarship application section if you need a scholarship to participate in the bridge program.

The LCB-Bridge program runs from Tuesday, June 12 to Friday, July 27, 2018. Be sure to confirm your admission no later than May 1 to allow consideration for scholarship eligibility.
