The Small Business Resource Directory is a listing of small business resource organizations that provide assistance to small business owners and individuals starting a small business in Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana. The organizations listed are non-profit or government agencies whose purpose is to help the small business community grow and prosper. Services are provided on a no charge or low charge basis.
This 2005 Edition of the Small Business Resource Directory was made possible because of the dedication to detail and persistence provided by the staff of the Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the University of Cincinnati, College of Business.

In 1991, a group of small business development advocates joined together to explore ways to take the confusion out of “who does what” among the non-profit and government agency small business service providers. The conclusion was that a one-stop clearinghouse of small business resources would provide more efficient and effective services to the small business community. The result of this ad hoc committee was the publication of the Small Business Resource Clearinghouse Directory in April, 1992. The name was subsequently shortened to the Small Business Resource Directory.
Special thanks and credit must go the original members of the Small Business Resource Clearinghouse Committee whose creativity and efforts made this publication possible. They were:
