Real Estate Major

A real estate major at UC is flexible and broad-based, while emphasizing an entrepreneurial spirit. It combines a core curriculum covering the functional areas of business with specialized coursework in real estate, finance, urban economics and planning. Additionally, UC provides a strong offering of related courses in construction, geography, planning, urban economics and civil engineering. The program also emphasizes important skills such as writing, negotiation, oral communication and computer modeling.

With invaluable input from alumni and industry advisors, the real estate curriculum is constantly evolving to keep pace with a changing world.

Graduates from the program go on to various opportunities in brokerage, investment banking, finance, banking, appraisal, property management and redevelopment, valuation, asset management, research and corporate real estate.
