The University of Cincinnati Transfer and Lifelong Learning Center determines transferability of courses completed at other post secondary institutions. The university also awards advanced standing for the Advanced Placement Program (APP), the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) of the College Entrance Examination Board and the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. Please refer to the Office of Admissions Web site to see the advanced standing keys for these three programs.
The college will consider for applicability toward the degree any previous course work, earned at a regionally-accredited college or university, which is presented on an official transcript. Credit for upper-division business core courses, major and concentration courses will be applied only for courses earned at the upper-division level at baccalaureate degree granting colleges. No course completed at a two-year college may meet an upper-division requirement in the Lindner College of Business.
Frequently, the total number of hours transferred will be limited by the number of elective hours available in the degree programs. Degree applicable credit hours may vary with the student's choice of major and may be altered should a student change majors within the college.
