The Norwegian School of Economics, our partner in Norway, provides a program for economics students to learn from experts in their field. The summer course will consist of guest lecturers from academic institutions and the business community. The program has been developed and orgnaized in partnership with a range of companies active in the major industries examined during the course. Company visits and case studies form a major part of the course schedule.
The City
Bergen(264,100) is the second largest city in Norway. The city was named one of nine European cities honored with the title of European Capital of Culture in 2000. The area is surrounded by one of the world's most spectacular tourist attractions, the Norwegian Fjords. Bergen is situated between the longest fjord Songnefjord north of Bergen and the beautiful Hardangerfjord in the south.
