Why participate in International Programs?

Importance
There's just no denying that the world is getting smaller. Last night's overseas economic and political developments have a direct impact on today's management decisions at home. Effectively running a business increasingly means having a clear understanding of global business.

Commitment
Our goal is to provide high quality experiential international programs at affordable costs for our students. We have expanded the types of global experiences available to our students and faculty by strengthening existing partnerships and developing new relationships. Programs range from short-course study abroad options (7-10 days - undergraduate and Master's) to semester abroad programs (undergraduate.)

Benefits
By studying abroad, students earn credit and gain firsthand experience in international business and cross-cultural management, returning with an understanding of what it is like to live and do business in a different culture.

To diversify our student body in the College we have recruited talented, qualified international students from our partners. These students bring a different cultural and academic perspective and in doing so enrich the learning experience of our students.

In 2012-2013, Lindner College of Business sent over 300 students abroad and received 100 exchange students from partner universities. 30 nationalities were represented in our student body.
