Application deadline is February 1. In order to be considered for special awards such as the Yates Fellowship (for minority students), your application should be complete by January 1.

Thank you for your interest in the PhD program in Business at the University of Cincinnati. The program is designed to provide the background and skills necessary to conduct independent research and to prepare students for a primary career in teaching and research. Areas of concentration include: Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Management, Marketing, Operations Management and Quantitative Analysis. 

As you think about application to PhD programs for Autumn 2012, we will be admitting new PhD students in Finance, Management/Organizational Behavior, Marketing, Operations Management and Quantitative Analysis.  The Accounting and Information Systems Departments will not be accepting applications for or admitting new students in 2012.

Entering 2011 Class Profile

• Average GPA - 3.8/4.0
• Average GMAT - 686
• Average TOEFL - 273 (250 minimum)*
• Average Work Experience - 5 years
• Percentage of International Students - 60%

*(minimums: 100 on the internet-based test, 250 on the computer-based test, or 600 on the pencil/paper test)
