Tuition & Aid

The MS-Finance program is now accepting applications for the Fall of 2012. The University of Cincinnati has been on the quarter system for many academic years but is moving to a semester calendar starting with the 2012-2013 academic year. Under the quarter calendar, three quarters are the equivalent of two semesters.

Autumn Semester 2012 classes start Monday August 27, 2012. For exact dates, see UC Academic Calendars.

Financial Aid

The amount of financial aid available varies annually, as does the competition for it. In addition to having excellent credentials, timeliness of the application is important; while the final deadline for application for admission is August 1, applicants should have their file complete by March 15 to ensure priority consideration for financial aid starting in the fall semester.

The most common form of aid is the University Graduate Scholarship (UGS). This form of aid is applied directly toward tuition, and the amount varies. These awards are made competitively, based on merit (test scores, grades, prior coursework, letters of recommendation, etc.).

The university provides help and coordination in lining up alternative ways to finance your education through the Student Financial Aid Office (click Graduate Students on the left).
