* Are there additional requirements for international applicants?

There are additional requirements for international students including successfully passing the TOEFL exam (minimums: 250 computer-based test, 600 for the paper-based test or 100 for internet based test) or the IELTS exam (7.0 minimum score) and obtaining a student visa.  Information important to international students can be found at http://www.business.uc.edu/mba/admissions/international. * When is the application deadline, and what do I need to submit?

We encourage you to apply as early as possible to ensure consideration (up to 10 months in advance of the desired start term). Be sure to visit the APPLY NOW page for specific deadlines, additional steps, and information. 

*What is your scholarship deadline?

The deadline for assured scholarship consideration is January 15 of the calendar year in which you wish to enroll (for full-time, fall term applicants only; deadlines may be different for other programs).

Our Full-time MBA offers three options for accelerated full-time study:

  • 12-Month year-round program beginning each autumn
  • 15-Month which includes a summer internship
  • 21-Month dual-degree MBA/MS option combines 12-month MBA with internship and one of our outstanding Master of Science (MS) programs. (MBA/MS-Information Systems requires 24 months to complete.)

Our Part-time MBA is designed for working professionals who want to continue their career while obtaining their MBA in 24 months. Students attend classes two nights a week on our Uptown (Clifton) campus.

Our Blue Ash MBA (BAMBA) is an executive-style part-time MBA which allows students with real-world experience to complete their MBA in as little as 24 months, attending classes in the evening two nights a week at our Carver Woods location.

* How many credit hours are required to receive a full-time MBA?

It takes 36-48 credit hours to complete the Full-time MBA program.

* How many credit hours are required to receive a part-time MBA?

It takes approximately 36-48 credit hours to complete the Part-time MBA program.

* Do I need to declare a concentration? If so, when must it be declared?

It is optional to declare a concentration. You can obtain a concentration by taking 12 credit hours in a specific area, or you can choose elective courses from multiple disciplines and not declare a concentration -- it's up to you. The concentration is declared in your final term of study.

* Do you offer financial aid?

Merit-based University Graduate Scholarships (UGS) are available on a limited basis to incoming full-time students. All full-time prospective students submitting an application prior to January 15th will be automatically considered; no separate scholarship application is required.

Merit-based scholarships are available on a limited basis to eligible part-time students. Part-time students are eligible if their employer does not fully reimburse their tuition. Students receiving tuition remission from the University of Cincinnati are not eligible for UGS.

Several need-based financial assistance programs are available to graduate students through the federal government. The Financial Aid Form is available online; a link and additional information is provided on http://www.business.uc.edu/mba/admissions/aid.
