LaDreka Karikari, assistant director of undergraduate enrollment and co-director of the Business Fellows Program in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business, was inducted into UC’s Lambda Society, a women’s honorary that acknowledges accomplishments and contributions of women of color at UC.

Given LaDreka’s exceptional role in championing the Business Fellows program, this recognition is highly appropriate, says Marianne Lewis, associate dean for undergraduate programs, director of Kolodzik Business Scholars and professor of management in the Lindner College of Business.

“LaDreka has a wonderful passion for supporting the development of under-represented students and fueling their success,” Lewis says.

The Lambda Society strives to empower women of color through community service and programming while aiding in the formation of new traditions.

“LaDreka's ever-giving contribution to these Lambda principles can be seen in our Business Fellows program,” says Scott Gregory, director of undergraduate enrollment in the Lindner College of Business.  “As a member of the Business Fellow's founding team, she's helped develop Business Fellows into a lasting opportunity for under-represented Lindner College of Business students far into the future.”
