UC Economics Professor Presents at Two Top European Schools

Debashis Pal speaks on pricing theory and entrepreneurship.

Debashis Pal, the David Sinton Professor of Economics in the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business, was invited to present his work at two top European business schools.

Pal presented “On the Advantages of Endogenous Access Pricing" (co-authored with Kenneth Fjell, associate professor of accounting at NHH, and David Sappington, the Lanzillotti-McKethan Eminent Scholar and director of the University of Florida’s Public Policy Research Center) at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Norway on August 13, 2012.

He also presented “All Entrepreneurial Productivity Increases are Not Created Equal” (co-authored with Arup Bose, professor, Indian Statistical Institute, and David Sappington, the Lanzillotti-McKethan Eminent Scholar and director of the University of Florida’s Public Policy Research Center) at the 3rd HEC Workshop on Entrepreneurship in Paris on September 21-22, 2012.

Pal has published extensively in highly regarded academic journals and his research has been widely cited in journals and textbooks.
