Bike feasibility study sites the research of two UC professors.

As Cincinnati explores the idea of turning an abandoned railroad track on Wasson Avenue in Hyde Park into a bike trail, the research of Olivier Parent in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business and Rainer vom Hofe in the College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning is cited in a March 1, 2012 story in Cincinnati Magazine.

According to their research released last year, Parent, assistant economics professor, and vom Hofe, associate professor of urban planning, concluded that a bike trail located near a residential area could increase the value of those houses.

Their research on property location near nature trails was presented October 2011 at a national conference on planning and development of communities.
