UC alum Phillip Holloman visits classrooms to impart wisdom.

Students at the Carl H. Lindner College of Business had the opportunity on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, to learn from a top business professional.

Phillip Holloman, BSCE, Civil Engineering, ’78, shared his success story with students as President and Chief Operating Officer of Cintas Corporation. From a co-op position at Procter & Gamble to a 16-year career with Cintas, Holloman climbed his way to the top of his profession.

His success story and experience in the business world is a reason he was tapped by UC to join an elite group of Alumni Masters to participate in the Kautz Alumni Masters Forum. Alumni Masters are leaders in business, medicine, arts and education who share their career journey with current students.

When Holloman visited two Lindner College of Business classrooms, he expanded upon his background by telling students that when he began his Cintas Career in 1996, he served as Vice President of Engineering and Construction, growing the company to 37 new plants in the United States and Canada. He then branched out to Vice President of Distribution and Production Planning, identifying process inefficiencies to reduce annual losses.

Holloman further connected with students by sharing his perspectives on leadership, innovation on improving processes and the value of quality communication skills.
