Regional companies and University of Cincinnati MBA students will go on a virtual trade mission to India on July 21. This virtual exchange may lead to a follow-up trip by the UC students to India this December.

UC Carl H. Lindner College of Business MBA students taking "Business Law for Managers," taught by Ilse Hawkins, attorney and adjunct professor of accounting in the college, will head to the offices of Frost Brown Todd for their virtual trade mission on July 21, 2011. The nine MBA students, Guillaume Collett, Hajrudin Efendic, Richard Fetter, Anand Krishnan, Brian Lawless, Randy Martinez, Matthieu Piccon, Scott Schriner, and David Timko, are also receiving project support from Lindner College of Business accounting professor, Pradyot Sen. The virtual trade mission involves local companies who may be able to help partner companies in India store and transport crop in chilled facilities after harvest to avoid losing some of their crop.
