With the federal deficit out-of-control, Julie Heath, director of the Economics Center and holder of the Alpaugh Family Chair in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business, addresses approaching spending and tax issues known as the fiscal cliff.

The fiscal cliff, Heath says in a December 2, 2012 column in The Cincinnati Enquirer, represents an opportunity for policymakers to find programs and initiatives that have the least impact on budget and greatest impact on recovery.
