Center for Business Analytics Welcomes New Partner and Member, Ameritas

Insurance and financial services organization adds $40,000 sponsorship.

The University of Cincinnati’s Center for Business Analytics announces that the Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. recently joined the Center as a member with a $40,000 sponsorship. The new partnership brings the total Center membership to 22 organizations, including a broad range of consumer, manufacturing, banking, insurance, healthcare, and technology companies.

In collaboration with its corporate sponsors, the Center for Business Analytics brings together the corporate community and UC faculty and students to discuss the application of analytics to issues faced by business, government and non-profit organizations. Members have access to symposia, student projects, professional training, and applied research that focuses on utilizing techniques such as data visualization, data mining, predictive modeling, simulation and optimization.
