Economics Center Program Offers College Credit to Tristate High School Students

  • High school students can earn college credit while learning about Cincinnati's economy with a three-week summer program hosted by the Economics Center at the UC College of Business.

Today's Learners, Tomorrow's Leaders (TL2) is a three-week summer program for high school juniors hosted by the Economics Center at the UC College of Business. From June 13 to July 1, 2011, participants will earn college credit from the University of Cincinnati while learning about the the Cincinnati community and the economy. Students will gain an understanding of what it takes to run a business and how individuals from all backgrounds can become entrepreneurs and successful business owners. The program will also feature a segment on personal finance, with instruction on how to budget, earn, save and responsibly spend money. Participants will have the opportunity to tour Cincinnati area industries and successful businesses, as well as network with peers from all over the Tristate.
