Drew Boyd, the executive director of the master of science in marketing program at the University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Business, claims that innovation is a skill, not a gift. UC students learn the five techniques that foster innovative thinking from Boyd, a former Johnson & Johnson executive, and create new ideas for real-world companies in his graduate-level innovation tools course.
