UC College of Business Serves as Academic Partner for North American Consumer Survey

The UC College of Business, along with the Wilfrid Laurier University School of Business & Economics in Ontario, Canada, has partnered with BrandSpark International, an independent market research and brand strategy firm, to perform research to reveal key insights into the minds of American and Canadian shoppers. This grocery shopper study works in conjunction with the Better Homes and Gardens Best New Product Awards program, in which consumers vote on the top new products in grocery, health, beauty and household categories. The results of the survey offer valuable information about consumer attitudes, such as the impact of the recession and eating at home and concerns about health and illness prevention. Marketing professors at the UC College of Business will analyze the dataset for potential inclusion in future research.
