  • Two of UC's colleges have been named among the best of their kind by The Princeton Review, a ranking based on student surveys.

The College of Business and the College of Law at the University of Cincinnati have once again made The Princeton Review's ?Best 300 Business Schools' and ?Best 172 Law Schools,' respectively. The Princeton Review surveyed 18,000 law students and 19,000 business students across the nation to compile their 2011 rankings released October 12. And when asked, our students had a lot to say to The Princeton Review:

  • "Rigorous but manageable," the school's "one-year MBA program is very attractive to those who are taking time off of their career to pursue extra education."
  • "Affordable and intimate," the UC College of Law offers small class sizes and an "intimate environment typical of a private college while paying the comfortable, low tuition you would expect from a public institution."
  • Learn from "Leaders in the field." In the classroom, you'll be treated to "several standout professors supported by a solid core that ensures rewarding class experience." Students agree that UC professors are an "amazing and diverse group of people who care just as much for teaching and students as they do about publishing their own work."

"We are proud to receive this honor once again," says College of Business Dean David M. Szymanski. "The special recognition of our outstanding MBA program is consistent with our vision to provide a world-class education in formats that are accessible to both full-time students and working professionals. By placing students at the center of what we do, we ensure that our college is an innovative learning environment for the best and brightest seeking a quality business education."

"As one of America's premier small, urban, public law schools, we are committed to affording our students personalized attention in an intimate environment ? along with the rich educational experiences and opportunities that can only be found in a great city and at a comprehensive research university," says College of Law Dean Louis D. Bilionis. "We think that's a powerful combination, and our students agree."
