  • Three faculty members from the UC College of Business appear on WCPO's "Democracy 2010" to get answers on important topics from the candidates.

With Election Day on the horizon, WCPO is working to ensure that voters are educated on where the candidates stand on important issues. The project, "Democracy 2010," hosted by WCPO's own Tom McKee, gave Cincinnati-area voters the chance to ask the questions that matter and receive a direct response from both Democratic and Republican candidates.

Three members of the faculty of the UC College of Business are featured in the series. Charles H. Matthews, professor and executive director of the Center for Entrepreneurship Education & Research, appears to pose a question to the candidates for Ohio Secretary of State. Frederick A. Russ, professor of marketing, appears to question Ohio State Auditor candidates. Marianne W. Lewis, associate dean of undergraduate programs and director of the Marvin P. Kolodzik Business Scholars Program is featured posing a question to the candidates running for Ohio State Treasurer.
