Parastu Kasaie is a PhD student at the department of Operations and Business Analysis (OBA), University of Cincinnati. She received her B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, and conducted her undergraduate project on “optimal allocation of “. Parastu’s research interests include agent-based simulation modeling, optimization analysis, epidemiology and biostatistics. Under the supervision of Dr.David Kelton, she currently continues her research on simulation of epidemics of infectious diseases.
