As the Econ Society, we seek to:

• Develop a sense of community among students sharing similar goals and ambitions.
• Be a resource for all students.
• Serve as a network base for students to communicate about issues concerning education in economics; future employment given economics training; the flexibility an economics background provides in supporting one's future endeavors; current topics which have economic relevance or impact; and informal, entertaining methods of dispersing knowledge of economics. 
  • Promote interest in economics, to attract students with an interest in economics, to provide more information about the scope of the subject's many areas of study and the overall profession, to retain students who desire to enhance their economic learning and advance in various areas.
  • Organize affordable educational trips to various centers of economic activities.
