The objective of the Accounting program is to educate students to develop in a wide range of professional accounting careers. The undergraduate program stresses basic conceptual business knowledge as a foundation for accounting career development.

The discipline includes financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, taxation, and accounting information systems. The program seeks to integrate the principles of measuring, analyzing and communicating economic information. The program is intended for students who wish to pursue careers in financial, managerial or institutional accounting. Career possibilities include certified public accountant, managerial accountant, internal revenue agent, tax consultant, financial executive, internal auditor, and accounting director in governmental agencies.
