- Arrange for a parking pass, if necessary.
- Waive your health insurance, if applicable.
- Purchase a computer, if necessary.
Arrange for housing, if necessary.
Currently, there is no separate housing for graduate students on campus; however, graduate students are eligible to stay in any available residence in which there is space. On-campus housing can be found in various locations throughout the campus. Information about student housing can be found at the housing website at uc.edu/housing/.
Arrange for a parking pass, if necessary.
While limited street parking is available, most students decide to park in the Campus Green Garage because it is attached to the Carl H. Lindner College of Business. Cost information as well as decals may be purchased at uc.edu/parking or by calling 556-2283. Evening passes for part-time students are also available.
Since there are limited parking decals for the Campus Green Garage, please plan accordingly. Although the Campus Green Drive garage is certainly the most convenient, other garage options are available.
Waive your health insurance, if applicable.
All full-time students at UC are automatically enrolled in a student health insurance policy provided by the university. Please visit Student Health Insurance for current costs.
The cost will be included on your billing statement each term. Students enrolled in the University Health Plan for the fall through spring terms will receive free health coverage for summer. Students who would like more information about policy coverage should contact the student health insurance office directly at (513) 556-6868.
Students who are covered by another policy, through an American company, may waive their insurance fee by clicking on "Waive My Health Insurance" in the "My Bill" section of the OneStop website. The deadline to waive health insurance can be found on the Student Health Insurance site. International students are not eligible to waive university health insurance unless they meet the criteria listed above.
Purchase a computer, if necessary.
Although it is not required, the Carl H. Lindner College of Business strongly recommends that all students have access to a laptop computer with wireless technology. The college has negotiated special student pricing on several Dell laptop systems. Configuration and pricing information about these systems is available at business.uc.edu/technology/dell.
