Real Estate Program & Center

With invaluable input from alumni and industry advisors, the real estate program and center is constantly evolving to keep pace with a changing world. A real estate major, or minor, at UC is flexible and broad based, while emphasizing an entrepreneurial spirit. It combines a core curriculum covering the functional areas of business (accounting, economics, finance, information systems, marketing, and operations management) with specialized coursework in real estate. Exposures to other disciplines impacting the field of real estate include construction, geography, planning, and civil engineering. In addition to functional exposure to real estate, the program emphasizes writing, negotiation, oral communication, analytical problem solving, and computer skills. Graduates of the real estate program go on to various careers including brokerage and leasing, property management, urban planning, corporate real estate, land development and construction, real estate financing, appraisal, asset management, market research, and feasibility analysis. The Real Estate Center also presents the Real Estate Roundtable series, a breakfast lecture series for professionals and students in the real estate industry, and the annual Real Estate Banquet, which draws over 600 professionals from the region.

We are now taking registrations for this year's UC Carl H. Lindner College of Business Real Estate Roundtable! You can register online here.  Discounts apply for recent graduates and civic employees. Please email real.estate@uc.edu if you have questions.
