Three types of membership classifications assure a diverse and rewarding learning and networking experience at the Goering Center.
Core Membership
Family and Private businesses comprise our Core Members:
Family Business: Business in which two or more family members are employed in the business, share ownership, or are primary decision makers; the family has majority ownership.
Private Business: Non-related individuals own more than 50% of the company.
Family and Private businesses aspire to grow and thrive in an ever changing economy. The Goering Center supports their growth through excellence in education and training.
The Goering Center does not list Core Members on our website.
By joining the Goering Center, you can prepare your family business to succeed for generations to come.
Many members have already faced leadership and transition challenges. Others are just beginning to recognize the need for advice. Either way, a Goering Center membership provides access to a variety of family business leaders willing to collaborate, as well as focused educational programs designed to enlighten.
At regularly scheduled programs, you will learn from the experiences of other family businesses and gain practical advice on how they deal with the challenges you face.
